Adult Music Ministry
O Lord, I will praise you with all my heart and tell everyone about the marvelous things you do. I will be glad, yes filled with joy because of you. I will sing your praises, O Lord above all gods.” (Psalm 9:1&2)
Good Shepherd’s Adult Choir is the core of our music program. We love what we do and it’s our sincere desire that everyone with a gift to share – large or small – come join us! We are teachers, businessmen, working mothers, retirees; we travel, volunteer, work longs hours; we are many things. But on Wednesday evening and Sunday morning, we are a choir, as the scripture says, ‘filled with joy’. Please be part of our joy – everyone is welcome and everyone is needed!
Adult Choir
Rehearsals: Wednesday, 7:15 – 8:30 p.m. in the choir room
Services: Every Sunday, 8:30 a.m.
Handbell Choir (Grade 10 through Adult)
Rehearsals: Wednesday, 8:30 – 9:15 p.m. in the choir loft
Services: Every 2nd Sunday, 8:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.

Youth Music Ministry
God has given each of you some special abilities, be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others God’s many kinds of blessings. Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies so that God will be glorified. (Peter 4:10 & 11)
Our Youth have many special abilities and their gift of music is one they willingly share with the congregation and each other. Youth Choir is the perfect place to make great friends and make great music in praise of our Lord.
Youth Choir (Grades 6* – 12)
Rehearsals: Sunday, following Sunday School in the choir room
Services: Every 4th Sunday, 11:00 a.m.
* 6nd graders may enroll in either Youth Choir or Junior Choir or both. |

Children's Music Ministry
Love God with the whole of our hearts, the whole of our intelligence and the whole of our energy. (Mark 12:32 & 33)
And
do we have energy! Good Shepherd’s Junior and Cherub Choir combine two
of the best things about being a Christian – service and fun. We place
an emphasis on learning to be worship leaders, singing kid-friendly
anthems and enjoying Christian fellowship.
Junior Choir (Grades 2* – 6)
Rehearsals: Wednesday, 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. in the choir room
Services: Every 1st Sunday, 11:00 a.m.
* 6nd graders may enroll in either Youth Choir or Junior Choir or both!
Cherub Choir (Preschool – Grade 2*)
Rehearsals: Wednesday, 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. in room 205
Services: Every 3rd Sunday, 11:00 a.m.
* 2nd graders may enroll in either Cherub Choir or Junior Choir. |
Instrumental Music
We
have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift
is prophesying, let him use it. If it is serving, let him serve: if it
is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage . . . (Romans 12:6-8)
And
if your gift is playing the piano or the trumpet or the violin . . .
please play to God’s glory! Children and adults who play an instrument
are encouraged to share their gift in the worship service.
