Through Christian Education we seek the nurturing of the congregation for deepening faith, equipping for service and strengthening evangelism.
Our current commitment to Christian Education includes:
- Sunday Church School for all ages - 9:45 a.m., September - May
- Sunday Adult Education hour on biblical and life issues
- Sunday Class for parents of preschool children
- Adult Bible studies for men and women
- Vacation Bible School (VBS), usually one week near the end of June
- A Library
- Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America(WELCA)
- First Communion preparation beginning with the 1st grade
- Confirmation preparation classes involving students in 8th and 9th grade
- Sunday morning forums on social issues
- Professionally staffed Nursery School
We will continue to strengthen our commitment to Christian Education by:
- Expanding adult education offerings and opportunities
- Promoting educational opportunities within the community
- Increasing educational audio and video resources
There are many opportunities for member involvement and we welcome their support:
- Sunday School Teachers and Assistants
- VBS Teachers and Assistants
- WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America)
- Library Assistants
