Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s spiritual and educational wellbeing. We are excited to begin (or continue) our journey with you and your child. Please fill out the enclosed forms and return them to the school within two weeks of receiving your packet. Immunization forms are not due until September. Thank you for your cooperation and thank you for partnering with us in your child’s education!
Some general information:
Ø Escrow tuition for the 2026-27 school year is due by: JUNE 1, 2026. If escrow tuition is not paid on time, we cannot guarantee your child’s placement. Escrow secures your spot, not registration.
Ø By August you will receive:
o Your child’s class placement (teacher assignment)
o The 2026-27 school year calendar
o Information about Back-to-School night
Ø The first day of school, your child will need the following:
§ A regular sized backpack
§ A full change of clothing (including socks) in a gallon Ziplock bag. (Labeled with first and last name.)
§ 2’s: A supply of diapers/pull-ups and wipes (labeled).
§ Teachers will provide a classroom supply list if it applies.
Ø Immunization records:
o New students must submit immunization records prior to September 1, 2026
o Returning students must submit updated immunization records no later than September 30, 2026. Revised 12/25

Messy Potty Accidents
2026-27 School Year
Please read this policy in its entirety, and then indicate your preference by checking yes or no below.
Toilet Training Procedures
“When a potty-trained child has a messy accident, staff will immediately contact the child’s parent or guardian to come to school to aid the child. Staff will assist the child (if need be) in the removal of only the outer layer of clothing. Staff is not authorized to remove the soiled underwear. Staff may then verbally direct the child to remove the soiled underwear and place it in a plastic bag. Staff will direct the child to cleanse themselves with baby wipes, dampened toilet paper, etc. Staff will not wipe the child. Child may then change into clean clothing that has been previously provided. Upon their arrival, parent may inspect the child to ensure proper cleansing has occurred and render further assistance if necessary. The parent or guardian will then take the soiled clothing into their possession.” –Approved 9/16/16

As you may have noticed, Good Shepherd Preschool is on Facebook and Instagram. We will occasionally post photos from the school day to show how much fun we have learning each week. We understand that some families may not be comfortable with their child’s photo being displayed on social media. Below, you will find two forms. One authorizing consent, and one declining consent. Please choose whichever you are most comfortable with, sign it, and return it to your child’s teacher. (Student names will not be published online.)
